  Ashghalouna was founded in 1986 by a small group of ladies during the Lebanese Civil War to help widows and destitute women make a decent living. Ashghalouna's mission is Empowerment & Education of women & their children. Our recruits are trained in one of two programs; sewing in the atelier or cooking in our kitchen and receive a monthly renumeration during their training. We strive to ensure dignity for the families and respect for a better livelihood.
